Using a Virtual Background in Zoom
Since most of us don't have a fancy recording studio to host meetings from or maybe even the time to clean up the room we're in before joining a call, virtual backgrounds are a great way to add a neat, attractive look to your image.
At this point almost any PC or laptop on the market meets the necessary system requirements to support virtual backgrounds in Zoom. This video explains how to select and apply a virtual background in a meeting:
Download A Background
The VCU Brand Site includes a library of approved VCU images for use as Zoom backgrounds. To acquire them, visit brand.vcu.edu, log in with your eID and password, then look under "Downloads > Zoom Backgrounds"
If you're looking for other options, Zoom provides its own library of backgrounds to choose from.
Alternatively, you can download or create any images you like (within the boundaries of good taste, naturally) and use them as backgrounds. Make sure they're at least 1280x720 pixels in size for best results.
It's even possible to use a video clip as your background. These should also be at least 1280x720 in display size and saved as MP4 files.
